How does it work in VedleJedle?

All about our second cabin

VedleJedle is a little bit different. It was designed to work as Scandinavian and Alpine huts intended to spend a night here and continue hiking the next day. There is no service such as cleaning, no equipment such as blankets, pillows etc. You simply bring your own camping equipment such as sleeping bag, camping stove and others. After you stay we kindly ask you to clean up properly so the cabin is ready for our guests. Our concept is based on trust. Thanks to this we can provide glamping experience for much lower prices.

Location

Our cabin, Maringotka pod Smrkem, is located on the outskirts of Nové Město pod Smrkem, at the very foot of the Jizera Mountains. The location offers plenty of opportunities for spending peaceful holidays in the nature. 

Capacity, Equipment

The cabin fits 2 guests on a bed of 200 x 240 cm. There is only necessary equipment for cleaning the cabin, fire wood and some card games.

Utilities

The cabin is in the remote without connection to any utilities (electricity, water, drainage, wifi). There is no shower, flushing toilet nor high-voltage power outlets. However, we do have lights as well as USB sockets for minor electronics. The toilet is a dry toilet, located 30 m away in the nearby forest.

Accessibility/parking

The cabin is located on a Christmas tree plantation 200 m from a asphalt road. Parking lot is 15m from the cabin. If you are coming by train or bus, expect a 2,5 km long walk from the closest station. 

Access in the winter may be more difficult due to snow, let us update you prior your arrival. Unfortunately, our accommodation is not wheelchair accessible.

To book your stay you can use our reservation system or please contact us here or via Instagram. We kindly ask you to pay a 100% deposit, refundable up to 14 days prior your arrival. One week before your arrival we will send you all the necessary instructions.
